Petr Cech says Arsenal will go into their final Champions League group game with confidence after bringing their fate back into their own hands.
The London side's home 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb - coupled with Olympiakos' 4-0 defeat at Bayern Munich - means they can still qualify for the knockout stages.
Arsenal had relied on Bayern beating the Greeks as well as winning against Zagreb themselves to keep their hopes alive.
After both results went their way, Arsene Wenger's men will advance if they can win by two goals in Athens on December 9.
Their bid to reach the knockout phase for the 16th year in a row was in tatters after early losses to both Dinamo and Olympiakos.
Cech admits that dented morale but is adamant spirits are soaring again following a victory which has injected new life into their campaign.
The goalkeeper said: "We did our bit, they (Bayern) did their bit and it is now a grand finale for us in the last game, and we are literally entering the play-off already.
"So we are going into a play-off situation and we know what we need to get so hopefully we will be ready for that.
"If we create chances, play our game and put them under pressure, we have a chance to score our goals in the game and make the difference we need.
"We can go in a confident mood because a few rounds ago we were almost out of the competition and now we have everything in our hands to progress.
"That is the situation, which is actually good for us. We need to make sure we go there and get the result no matter how and (get) in the draw for the last 16."
