We round up the latest Arsenal transfers rumours from around the British and European press on Sunday, August 6.
The battle to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco seems to be hotting up.
The Daily Mirror say Barcelona are now also interested in the 21-year-old, along with Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.
It is reported the Gunners are ready to up their offer to £50m, having seen three bids already rejected.
Perhaps some of that transfer fee could be funded by selling Danny Welbeck?
The Mirror also report that Everton are set to bid £30m for the England international. The Toffees were linked with Olivier Giroud, but will apparently turn their attentions to Welbeck if they cannot get the France striker.
The Daily Star claim Manchester City are still hopeful that Arsenal will sell them Alexis Sanchez this summer.
Arsene Wenger is adamant Sanchez will not leave, even though he only has a year left on his contract.
But the Star say the Chile international is City's top target and they are prepared to play the waiting game until the window closes.
Lucas Perez's agent has denied reports that he has been offered to Roma.
Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle told Romanews WebRadio: "I am friends with Monchi [Roma sporting director] and can assure you he is not seeking a player like him. I don't know why Perez's name appeared in the papers linked with Roma."
