Former Gunner Nigel Winterburn says new Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette reminds him of Ian Wright.
Lacazette continued the excellent start to his Arsenal career, on Monday, by scoring twice in a 2-0 victory over West Brom at the Emirates.
It took his tally to four Premier League goals since joining from Lyon for £46.5m in July.
And ex-Arsenal defender Winterburn told Sky Sports News on Tuesday there are similarities between the France international and fans' favourite Wright, who netted more than 200 times for the club between 1991 and 1998.
Winterburn said: "To come to a new team, like Alvaro Morata at Chelsea, and start producing straight away, is a massive bonus.
"He's more Wright than (Thierry) Henry. Thierry wasn't your classic centre-forward. Henry drifted into wide areas, picked the ball up, unbelievable pace and great close control.
"He scored from outside the box while Wrighty would produce something in and around the box.
"You'd never know what he was going to do and Lacazette looks similar. And if he can produce the goals that Wrighty produced, then I think the Arsenal fans will be very, very happy."
