Arsene Wenger thinks Arsenal are coming to the boil after registering their first home win of the season against Stoke City.
Wenger said: "We have five games and ten points and we feel that everybody is at the same fitness level now.
"I think we played well in first half. Our passing was absolutely outstanding. In the second half we maybe dropped the intensity of our passing but we continued creating chances. It was a justified win and a convincing one."
The victory could have been by a bigger margin had Arsenal made more of their 29 shots in the game.
Wenger's men found visiting goalkeeper Jack Butland in fine form but their profligacy when in front of goal did worry the Arsenal manager, who suggested that confidence might be a little low within the camp.
He said: "Yes, if you want to go the extreme. Certainly between the number of chances created and the number of goals scored, the difference is too big. That is linked to confidence and to get that first win at home out of the way will help.
"We had 30 shots on goal today and we created chances from the first to the last minute.
"Players have the quality to score so at some stage that will come. We have stabilised our defensive record."
Walcott may not keep his place in a big week for the Gunners, who begin their Champions League campaign at Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night and travel to the reeling reigning Premier League champions Chelsea next Saturday.
"We play every three days for three weeks," Wenger said.
"I will have to rotate the strikers without letting them drop their confidence."
