Gylfi Sigurdsson says Everton's players are determined to reverse the club's fortunes with two wins from two at Goodison Park this week.
The Toffees are now just two points above the relegation places after suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat to Southampton on Sunday and caretaker-manager David Unsworth admits Everton may have to sign reinforcements in January if they are to avoid the drop.

Everton now face two games in front of their own fans at Goodison Park, with fellow strugglers West Ham the opponents on Wednesday before Premier League new-boys Huddersfield visit at the weekend.
And Sigurdsson believes the Toffees can resurrect their failing Premier League campaign by beating their relegation rivals.
"All of the players are determined to turn this around," he said. "We need a little bit of luck, we got back into the game but we need to make sure we take advantage of those situations.
"The positive thing is we have two more games this week. We must go into the next one with a bit of positivity and try to get something from the game.
"We have two very important games coming up now. We are playing at home and we need to get six points."
Sigurdsson scored his first league goal for Everton during the heavy defeat to Southampton but former Swansea man insists he took no enjoyment from his spectacular effort at St Mary's.
"No, we lost the game and lost it badly," he said, when asked if he took any consolation from his strike.
"It is hard to look at that when you have lost 4-1 and the season is going the way it is going. It is disappointing. I think we were lucky to get back in the game.
"At 1-1 at half-time I thought we could nick something but the performance in the second half was far from good enough."
