The summer transfer window is in full flow and clubs across Europe are making moves as they look to put the final pieces in place to build the squad they need for a successful 2017/18 season.

Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the continental media for the latest news and transfer rumours.

Germany

Chelsea are set to replace Antonio Conte with former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel. Blues director Marina Granovskaia is fed up with Antonio Conte and wants a change. Tuchel and Luis Enrique, who are both currently without a job, have been considered to replace the Italian, but the German is favoured because of his better grasp of English. (Sport Bild)

Borussia Dortmund have given Barcelona until Sunday to submit an offer of €150m (£137m) for Ousmane Dembele. If the Catalan club fail to do so by the deadline, the Frenchman will remain in Germany. (Bild)

Italy

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to meet Lazio's €30m (£27m) asking price for Keita Balde Diao. The Juventus transfer target will be out of contract at the end of the season and has boycotted training sessions to try and force a move to the Italian champions. But Juventus have only offered €15m, while AC Milan, West Ham United and Napoli have been rejected by the Senegal international. (Corriere dello Sport)

Barcelona have had a change of heart over Jean Michael Seri. It looked like a deal for the Nice midfielder was practically complete, but the Barca hierarchy decided last night to scrap the deal and focus on moves for Dembele and Philippe Coutinho instead. (Mundo Deportivo)

Barcelona suspect that Liverpool are interfering in their negotiations with Borussia Dortmund for Dembele. They believe the Reds are using Jurgen Klopp's contacts with his former side to make it difficult for Barca. (Mundo Deportivo)

City Football Group, the holding group that owns a number of clubs including Manchester City and New York City, are set to confirm the purchase of 44 per cent of the shares of La Liga side Girona. Pep Guardiola's brother Pere Guardiola will also own 44 per cent of the shares, while the rest will remain with minority shareholders. (Marca)

Portugal

West Ham United want to sign Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho as soon as possible to have him in the matchday squad to face Newcastle United this weekend. (Record)

Benfica want to swoop for Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol. It had been expected that the 20-year-old Inter Milan striker was on his way to city rivals Sporting Lisbon on loan. (Record)
