Tim Sherwood has revealed he turned down a job offer from Saudi Arabia in the last three weeks.
Speaking on Soccer AM on Saturday, Sherwood - who has been out of work since he left his director of football role at Swindon Town following their relegation to League Two in May - said he would be willing to talk to any club if the opportunity arose.
"I would look and talk to anyone, and if they were willing to give me the commitment that I'd show to the job then we'd have to see.
"Three weeks ago, there was an opportunity in Saudi Arabia. It didn't appeal to me but I'd go abroad. It looks like there is more opportunity to manage abroad than in the UK because there's a shortage of managers abroad - they are all here."
Sherwood has not managed since he was sacked by Aston Villa in October 2015 but, when pressed by presenters Fenners and Jimmy Bullard, the 48 year-old appeared in no rush to return to the game in a full-time capacity.
He added: "I'm not too busy golfing! If there is an opportunity then I'll have a look but I'm enjoying life, not getting bored, spending time with my great family.
"I hate it when people ask if a job is the right one because you don't know until you are in it. I listen to managers saying that but it's only the right job if you win every week."
