West Brom midfielder Rekeem Harper has signed his first professional contract with the club and headed out on loan to Blackburn.
The 17-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at The Hawthorns and will spend the remainder of the season with Rovers in League One.
He told West Brom's official website: "I'm delighted. I've been here since I was 12 years old and I've always dreamed of signing a pro deal. It's a great feeling.
"The Premier League 2 is a bit slower tempo and it's not overly physical. I want to test myself against stronger players - men.
"I'm looking forward to the pressure of it all and the opportunity to play real football.
"I want to improve technically, tactically and build up some more confidence. I want them to know Rekeem Harper."
