Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has been handed a three-match suspension after accepting a charge of violent conduct from the FA.
Mitrovic appeared to strike West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini with an elbow during Newcastle's 3-0 win over the Hammers on Saturday afternoon, although the incident went unseen by the match officials at St James' Park.
The former Partizan and Anderlecht forward remained on the pitch and went on to score the final goal of the game for the Magpies.
An FA panel later reviewed the incident and retrospectively charged the Serbia international with violent conduct.
Mitrovic had until 6pm on Wednesday night to respond to the charge, which he accepted - along with the mandatory three-match suspension.
He is now set to miss Newcastle's upcoming Premier League games against Swansea, Stoke and Brighton.
Mitrovicis currently away on international duty with Serbia ahead of World Cup Qualifiers against Moldova and the Republic of Ireland
