Manchester City have agreed a deal with Austria Vienna to sign Nigeria international striker Olarenwaju Kayode.

The 24-year-old has agreed to sign a four-year contract and will be immediately loaned to Spanish side Girona.

Kayode scored 30 goals in 67 appearances for Austria Vienna after signing from Israeli club Maccabi Netanya in 2015.

City's owners the City Group have established a link with Girona, who are owned by Media Base - a company owned by Pep Guardiola's brother Pere Guardiola.

City have already loaned four players to the La Liga side this summer: winger Marlos Moreno, right-back Pablo Maffeo, and midfielders Aleix Garcia and Douglas Luiz.

City have travelled to Girona for a warm-weather training camp this week and will play a friendly against the Spanish club on Tuesday.
