Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists his side will go out strongly against Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday night to try and claim top spot in Group F.
City have already secured their place in the knockout stages of the competition having won all four matches in the tournament.
But with Shakhtar Donetsk also going well and top spot still up for grabs, Guardiola is promising to go all out for victory at the Etihad Stadium.
"We are already qualified but for the draw for the last 16, you never know. It is better to play the second leg at home [by topping the group]," said Guardiola.
"The players will prepare the same way as always, to try and win the game. The Champions League is a prestigious competition. We will play to win."
Central defender John Stones has already been ruled out for four to six weeks with a suspected hamstring injury, leaving Guardiola without one of his first choice defenders this season.
The Spaniard remained positive, however, with a number of experienced players in the position still available to him.
"John Stones will be out between 4-6 weeks. All of the month he will be out. Hopefully he will recover well for the start of January," he added.
"We have [Eliaquim] Mangala, Vincent [Kompany] and Nico [las Otamendi]. Kyle [Walker] can play in the middle, as can Fernandinho.
"If [Benjamin] Mendy was fit, he could play there. We will find a solution. The spirit is good. Everybody can make a step forward."
Meanwhile, on the day that Tony Pulis was sacked as West Brom manager, Guardiola had some warm words for him.
"A big hug for Tony Pulis, it's so difficult now," he said. "We have to accept that. Everybody knows when managers don't have results, a month later, they will be sacked.
"He is an amazing man and so gentle. Hopefully we can share a red wine in the future."
