Middlesbrough have agreed a £7m deal with West Ham to sign striker Ashley Fletcher.
Fletcher left West Ham's training camp in Germany on Wednesday to have a medical and discuss personal terms on Teesside.
If the deal goes through he will be a ninth summer signing for Boro, who are rebuilding under Garry Monk ahead of their return to the Sky Bet Championship.
Fletcher joined West Ham last summer when his Manchester United contract expired and made 16 Premier League appearances, but only started two of those games with fourteen coming from the bench.
The Hammers have since spent more than £40m on two forward players, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.
