Reece Oxford is to return to West Ham after cutting short his loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, according to Sky sources.

Oxford joined Gladbach on a season-long loan back in June but is yet to make a first-team appearance.

The centre-half, who can also play in midfield, has been an unused substitute in all six of the club's Bundesliga games - the most recent of which ended in a 6-1 defeat at Borussia Dortmund.

Oxford was the Premier League's second-youngest debutant when he started at Arsenal on the opening weekend of the 2015-16 season.
