Grzegorz Krychowiak tells Sky Sports News why he signed for West Brom

West Brom have completed the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak on a season-long loan deal.

The 27-year-old former Reims and Sevilla man has been capped 45 times by Poland, impressing at Euro 2016.

And he won the Europa League twice during his time in Spain, but has struggled to make an impact in the French capital and has only figured 11 times for big-spending PSG.

Krychowiak has been linked with several other clubs and told the West Brom website: "I had a lot of offers from Spain and Italy, but this is a very ambitious club.

"There's a good atmosphere here."

It is understood that West Brom wanted to include an option to buy in the loan deal but PSG would not agree to it.

Baggies chairman John Williams added: "This is a fantastic loan agreement for Albion and we are very pleased to have completed the transfer.

West Brom are having a busy week and earlier on Wednesday they announced the signing of Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal on a four-year contract.
