A look ahead to Sunday's Premier League action as Burnley host Crystal Palace and Newcastle take a trip to the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea

The Clarets signed strikers Chris Wood from Leeds and Nahki Wells from Huddersfield during the summer window, although Dyche lost Andre Gray to Watford.

Wood in particular has settled in well, scoring a stoppage-time equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Tottenham at Wembley before the international break to help the club reach four points from their opening three matches of the Premier League campaign.

"I'm generally really pleased, especially with getting some business done early, which I always think every manager wants to do," Dyche said ahead of Sunday's game with Crystal Palace, live on Sky Sports.

"There were a couple of situations we thought were close but didn't actually get there. That's the way it goes but I am pleased with the squad and the way in which they are playing.

"Our business has been done pretty early. All parties have to agree - the opposite club, the player, often the player's agent.

"In our situation this summer, they all came together pretty quickly and I am pleased with it."

As for Wood and Wells, Dyche finds a correlation between the two player's history, with both having played for a number of clubs during their career without being given the opportunity to perform regularly in the top-flight.

"[Wood] is similar to [Sam] Vokes in as much as he had a number of loan spells, he had been wandering around football a little.
