Kelechi Iheanacho has completed his medical at Leicester and is poised to complete his move from Manchester City, according to Sky sources.

Sky Sports News understands personal terms have been agreed and the £25m transfer - which gives City the option to buy Iheanacho back for £50m - is nearing completion.

City believe the 20-year old Nigerian has the potential to become a world-class goalscorer, but presently they are struggling to guarantee him regular first-team football.

Having joined the City Academy as a 17-year-old, Iheanacho has played 46 games for the senior side over the past two seasons.

After seeing his progress at Man City stall, Kelechi Iheanacho can seize his chance at Leicester City.

But he has made just one start in 2017, back on 2 January against Burnley.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is rebuilding his squad and the sale of Iheanacho will allow him to recoup some more of the £210m he has spent on six new arrivals this summer.
