Manchester City youngster Bobby Duncan scored the winner as England U17s came from behind again to beat Portugal 3-2.
After the previous group produced an astonishing comeback to win the U17s World Cup final 5-2 in India last month, Steve Cooper's new Young Lions did it again in Chesterfield.
Goals from Eduardo Ribeiro and Rodrigo Fernandes put Portugal into a 2-0 lead at half-time at the Proact Stadium in Derbyshire.
But Duncan's City team-mate Thomas Doyle pulled a goal back with a free-kick early in the second half.
The visitors then had Umaro Embalo sent off for a second bookable offence shortly after the interval and Nottingham Forest's Arvin Appiah forced Tomas Tavares into an own goal with an excellent cross from the right.
After assisting the leveller, Appiah then crossed for striker Duncan, who is Steven Gerrard's cousin, to poke home the winner with three minutes of the game remaining.
England's U17s face Russia next on November 11 before a clash with Germany on November 14.
