Manchester City Women manager Nick Cushing has signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal.
It comes just days after he withdrew from the running from the England job, which he was reportedly shortlisted for.
Cushing took charge at City in 2014 for the side's first season in the Women's Super League, winning the Continental Cup in his maiden year, before going on to claim the league title in 2016 and the FA Women's Cup in 2017.
"I'm really, really happy to have signed," Cushing told the club's official website.
"My future is here and we can carry on trying to be successful and continue the great work that we've shown over the past four years to try and remain the dominant domestic team and keep pushing on in Europe."
"The future holds another transitional phase, maybe four or five years ahead and I would like to think that I'll be the coach then.
"To do that, I have to work hard and keep improving this team so that we continue to win the number of games that we've won, but we want to play in a better style so we can draw in more fans."
Interviews take place on Monday for the England position, which Cushing had been one of the favourites for.
Mo Marley will be one of the candidates after taking interim charge following Mark Sampson's sacking in September.
England have continued their good qualifying form under Marley, beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-0 before easing past Kazakhstan 5-0 at Colchester's Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday.
