Former Swansea manager Bob Bradley is back in football after being announced as the head coach of MLS expansion franchise Los Angeles FC for next season.

The 59-year-old, who was the first American to manage a Premier League club, lasted only 85 days as Swansea manager in 2016.

He departed the Liberty Stadium after winning only two Premier League games to leave the Swans in relegation danger after seven defeats during his 11 games in charge.

Bradley, the former United States national team coach, will resume his career back in his homeland, where Los Angeles FC will compete in the MLS from the start of the 2018-19 season.

Bradley, who has also managed Egypt, arrived in Swansea last October following Francesco Guidolin's dismissal.
