Wright-Phillips hit the only goal of the game when he turned Daniel Royer's shot past Alex Bono in the 53rd minute.

Toronto FC will meet the Columbus Crew in the final after they moved on with a 4-3 aggregate win over New York City FC despite a 2-0 second-leg defeat.

David Villa opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 16th minute before Andraz Struna drilled a second via a deflection from Jonathan Mensah.

Dylan Remick and Mauro Manotas scored to send the Houston Dynamo into the Western Conference final after a 2-1 win over the Portland Timbers.
