Stoke City should complete the signing of Bruno Martins Indi within the next 24 hours, according to Sky sources.
The defender is due to fly to England on Wednesday morning to complete his medical and the formalities of his contract. The fee agreed with Porto is understood to be £7m.
Martins Indi made 37 appearances for Stoke while on loan last term, scoring once.
Stoke had the option to sign him for a fee rising to £13.4m as part of that deal, but previously pulled out because they were not prepared to meet Porto's demands, according to Sky sources.
Crystal Palace agreed a separate deal with Porto for the 25-year-old centre-back but Martins Indi never arrived at Palace for a scheduled medical.
