Chelsea target could follow Guardiola to Bayern Munich

Chelsea target Neymar could follow Pep Guardiola to Bayern Munich, according to reports in Spain.

The Brazil forward is under contract at Santos until 2014 and has vowed not to leave his current club until his country has hosted the 2014 World Cup.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are then likely to battle it out to sign the forward after Chelsea were already twice rejected by the sensation in recent years.

But Guardiola, who was a candidate for the job of Brazil national team manager after he quit Barcelona, could now play a pivotal role in taking Neymar to the Allianz Arena.

Bayern already possess some of Germany’s most exciting young talent with Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in their squad and adding Neymar would make them a terrifying prospect for European opposition.

Guardiola’s new club is one of few across the globe that can afford Neymar and Spanish paper AS believes they will now be genuine contenders for his signature.
