West Brom are close to signing Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal for £7m.

Gibbs is heading to Albion for a medical later today after a move to Watford collapsed over personal terms. The England international will bring his 13-year association with Arsenal to an end after Albion agreed a fee earlier on Tuesday.

Gibbs, 29, has not featured for the Gunners this season but ends Tony Pulis' search for a specialist left-back.

He joins Jay Rodriguez, Oliver Burke, Gareth Barry and Ahmed Hegazi as the latest senior signing to arrive at the Hawthorns.

Gibbs had held talks with Watford, who also agreed a fee, but the salary has been an issue for the Hertfordshire club.

Pulis is also on the verge of signing Fenerbahce's defensive midfielder Josef de Souza for around £10.5m. West Brom are bracing themselves for the departure of captain Jonny Evans, with Arsenal the latest Premier League club to register an interest.

Manchester City and Leicester are also keen on the Northern Ireland international, who will cost a minimum £30m.
