Manchester City reached 11 wins in a row on Saturday thanks to a 3-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday. The Blues weren’t nearly as impressive as they have been in recent weeks, thanks in large part to a solid performance from Burnley, but City scored the goals in important moments and got three more points to stay top of the league.

As we do after every match here at Bitter and Blue, we’ve asked you to vote and rate the players’ performances and choose your Man of the Match for Saturday’s match. As always, thanks so much for your participation!

Man of the Match: John Stones (37.5%)

In a game where the City attack wasn’t as potent or accurate, a defender deservedly gets credit. John Stones has made fantastic progress this season, and he’s becoming everything we thought he could be. He’s always been great with the ball, but he is now turning into an elite defender. Stones is the real deal, and this performance proved it.
