Oh, crap.

Bad news for Manchester City fans and Pep Guardiola: John Stones, who has been without a doubt the best defender at the club this season, was forced to leave the match against Leicester City on Saturday with what appears to be a hamstring injury. Stones was making a simple run back towards his goal when he fell down grabbing the back of his thigh. He was replaced by Eliaquim Mangala.

Hopefully this isn’t a serious kind of hamstring injury, but Stones will be out of action for a few weeks at the very least. The good news is that Vincent Kompany returned from injury against Leicester, and if he’s able to stay fit until Stones’ return, then things won’t be so bad.
