Manchester City join race for Seri

Today’s rumors start off in France with news that Manchester City are one of several clubs ready to make a “big money move” for Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri.

Seri saw a deal with Barcelona break down over the summer at the last minute and now fancies playing in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Mail, both City and Liverpool are happy to spend big on the midfielder who is also wanted by Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.

City send scouts to watch Yusuf Yazici

Over in Turkey, the news is that City have been scouting attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici.

Hurriyet report Pep Guardiola’s side planned to watch the Trabzonspor midfielder in action on Monday night in the win over Antalyaspor.

Espanyol defender Aaron Martin wanted

Espanyol left-back Aaron Martin is a man in demand and Manchester City could face competition for his signature from several clubs.

According to Calciomercato (via Talksport), Napoli have joined City in the chase for the young defender who could well be on the move in January.

City must pay £50m Alexis Sanchez

The latest instalment in the Alexis Sanchez saga has arrived with news that City must pay £50 million if they want the Chilean in January, according to The Independent.

The club will apparently try again in January with a big offer with Guardiola feeling reinforcements will be needed to clinch the Premier League and Champions League.

Arsenal remain unwilling to sell, but would be prepared to let him leave for the right offer.

West Brom fear Jonny Evans will leave

And finally today’s rumors end with an update on Jonny Evans with manager Alan Pardew admitting he may lose the centre-back in January.

Manchester City missed out on a move for Evans in the summer but Pardew has been asked directly about his chances of keeping hold of the defender and is not confident.

He said, via BBC Sport: “Do I want to lose him? Of course not. Do I fear losing him? Of course I do."
