We want you to choose the lineup!

After two long, excruciating weeks of mostly meaningless international football, the Premier League returns with a bang! The first game of the weekend is in the early hours of Saturday at the Etihad Stadium, when Manchester City meet Liverpool in a blockbuster football match.

Even though this is early in the season and there’ll be 34 matches left in the league season, City and Liverpool will be looking to make a statement of intent in the title race. Both teams made very good business over the summer and both have deep, talented squads with two fantastic managers who will try to give their teams a major trophy this season.

Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp usually give us incredibly entertaining games when their teams meet, and we’ll certainly see another cracker on Saturday’s lunchtime kickoff. Pep will be without his best player in August as Raheem Sterling will serve a one-game suspension, but there are still plenty of options to play a strong team against the Reds before the Champions League debut away to Feyenoord.

And we want to know your lineup choice! Please fill out the attached form below with the 11 players you want to see starting against Liverpool, and which formation should Pep choose. Again, this is not your prediction, it’s your choice. We’ll share your decisions tomorrow in our Predicted Lineups article. You can check out how others have voted under the form.

Here’s a mobile-friendly link to the form if you want to vote via phone/tablet. Choose wisely!
