After a glorious draw on Tuesday, there is a more familiar challenger awaiting Spurs this weekend.
Tottenham will face Liverpool, who have become sort of a bogey team for Mauricio Pochettino. A win by Spurs this Sunday at Wembley would be the first time they’ve beaten the Reds since 2012. Tottenham’s scorers that day, in a 2-1 victory, were Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale. It’s safe to say a few things have changed since then.
