WATCH: Dele Alli’s volley restores Spurs’ two-goal lead vs. Liverpool

After a stunning opening 11 minutes gave Spurs a 2-0 lead over Liverpool at Wembley, Mohamed Salah gave the visitors some hope midway through the first half with a nice finish. However, Dele Alli has restored the two-goal lead just before halftime with a volleyed strike from the top of the box.

A hoofed ball into the box was cleared out by Liverpool’s defense but it fell right to Alli who didn’t have the cleanest of contact, but his aim was true. The bouncing shot found its way past Simon Mignolet to make it 3-1 heading into the break.
