It’s the Menno Song of the Day!

Happy Monday, Hoddlers! Ed’s slammed with work stuff and I just woke up so I’ll throw together a quick Hoddle for you. No links, since I don’t have time for that kind of stuff, so feel free to put your links into the comments. You know, like you always do, half an hour before the Carty Free article comes out.

I will keep the Song of the Day thing going, though. It’s okay, I have an advanced degree in musicology, you can trust me. Since it’s close to Halloween, I thought I’d do a spooky little song from a band that I only just discovered a couple of months ago.

Lord Huron is a California-based band but the band name comes from the lead singer’s childhood camping experiences on the shores of Lake Huron in Michigan. They’ve put together two albums that center on overarching thematic settings: this album, “Strange Trails,” is all about the supernatural, the apocalypse, and pulp horror novels. They’re great. I hope you enjoy.
