The Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur News and Links for Friday, December 15

Happy Star Wars Friday!

What’s up, people of the Hoddle?

Congratulations on making it to Friday! Only one day left until Spurs play Manchester City and the team’s winning streak with me in charge of the Hoddle is threatened! (Three games is a nice streak, right?)

Before the ramble, I want to apologize for forgetting the stylish former managers of Tottenham, André Villas-Boas (who definitely started slacking on his style once he left Tottenham, a bit of scrolling on Google Images reveals) and Mr. Gilet himself, Tim Sherwood. What an error on my part!

Okay, now for the ramble.

Ramble of the Day

This tweet popped up on my twitter timeline yesterday.

Pretty cool, right? Especially that drawing on the last page. I must admit that I’m surprised at how neat the drawing is (but that’s because I have low expectations when it comes to other people’s handwriting and organization on paper).

I do have a bone to pick with Beckham, though. Why didn’t he write on both sides of the page? That’s wasting paper!

I only now realize that I do not have much else to add. I just think of David Beckham as a paper waster now.

Shall we get to the links?

Links of the Day

A Star Wars themed link, since The Last Jedi comes out today in the States. Four Four Two assigned each Premier League manager a Star Wars character. Feel free to debate the choices.

VAR’s next stop is France, with Ligue 1 set to introduce Video Assistant Referee next season.

The FA has asked José Mourinho to explain some comments he made before last week’s Manchester Derby, though they have not specified which comments publicly.
