It’s not a happy day on Merseyside. Ronald Koeman is gone because Everton are one of the worst teams in the Premier League. The defense is leaky and the attack lacks venom while the midfield runs hot and cold. There is plenty of time left in the season for the ship to be righted, but Everton need to take their time and name the best man for the job, not just the first one to say “yes”.
