FIFA 18 Ratings: Everton players receive their grades

Most Blues first teamers are available, but not quite all.

At last, our long national nightmare is over. The FIFA 18 full release date (September 29th) is nearly upon us. The demo was released today, and enterprising outlets are beginning to leak some of the player ratings - including Everton’s.

Included in the current omissions are Nikola Vlasic, Tom Davies, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. They’ll be in the game, but at this post’s time of publishing, their ratings had not yet popped up on any FIFA site.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye lead the way at 83 overall for Everton, and justifiably so - they’re two of the best defensive midfielders in England and will be a matchup headache for anyone you match up against in the game.

In defense, Everton are solid, if unspectacular. Ashley Williams checks in at 82 overall, Michael Keane 81, and Phil Jagielka 80. Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman are 82 and 81, respectively.

Up front is where it gets very, very messy. As is the case on the actual field, Everton have too many attacking midfielders on the virtual pitch. Gylfi Sigurdsson and Davy Klaassen are both 82 overall, while Wayne Rooney is barely hanging on to life above the 80 overall line. Elsewhere, Kevin Mirallas and Yannick Bolasie are still here.

As you might suspect, there are really no goal scorers on Everton’s FIFA lineup. Ramirez is just a 77 overall and Calvert-Lewin will be included, but likely grade out as fringe starters or backups. If you’re playing with Everton in manager mode, you’re gonna have to hit the transfer market for that target man.
