Just a week after his brace gave Anderlecht all three points, Henry Onyekuru struck late to give his side a share of the spoils in a 2-2 away draw with Kortrijk. Anderlecht had led early but gave up two quick goals in the second half, before the on-loan Everton forward pounced on a loose ball in the box.

Back in England, Callum Connolly was the only Evertonian to win over the weekend as his Ipswich Town beat Bolton Wanderers 2-0, for whom Antonee Robinson played the whole game. Connolly played the first half in that game.

Liam Walsh came on after just four minutes for Birmingham City following an injury, but saw their one-goal lead overturned in the second half as they lost 3-1 against Preston North End, resulting in the firing of veteran manager Harry Redknapp.

Tyias Browning saw himself dropped following a crucial mistake in the midweek game for Sunderland, who went on to draw 1-1 at Hull City. Brendan Galloway did not make the squad following a series of disappointing performances as well.

Elsewhere, Kieran Dowell has cooled off after his hot start for Nottingham Forest. He came off after an hour in an ineffective performance, with Forest losing 2-1 at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Joe Williams had another good game at pivot in front of the defence for Barnsley, but was unable to stop his side from slipping to a 3-0 loss at home to Aston Villa.

Matthew Pennington and Conor Grant continue to recover from their respective injuries and did not play this weekend.
