Mercury in Retrograde brought Everton a loss against Chelsea, a few disappointments before the transfer deadline, and an arrest of a key player. Now is the time for Everton to bring a sense of calm and positivity to their season.

Saturday’s game against Tottenham Hotspur occurs a few days after a full moon and will illuminate the team with a chance to show some improvement. Not everything will be resolved and it won’t be perfect, but this game will provide hope.

This game’s trusty guide will be Leighton Baines, a true Sagittarius (known to the be the most peaceful and gentle of the fire signs) who will be getting his 300th start as an Evertonian. His sign’s symbol is the Centaur, (half man, half horse) which means that Leighton is not only physically strong but mentally as well. A hunger for knowledge and experience drive Leighton and indeed his teammate Morgan Schneiderlin recently called him “clever and determined.”

Leighton’s symbol is a centaur, which showcases his high intelligence and strong physicality.

The light of the full moon brings with it all the attention that Leighton tends to shy away from. Despite his statements that he tends not to dwell on such things, it will make him slightly reflective and push even harder to delight the fans. This week is important for Sagittarius and their career goals. The fullback wants to help Everton climb closer to the top of the table and he is going to have to use all of his skills he has learned over his ten years at Everton to get them there.

Leighton will shine in this game but it will truly come down to the 12th Man. The home crowd will have to come together to show their love for a strong Everton team in a very tough fixture. If that happens, this game is likely to end in a tie and even possibly a win.
