That Paulie guy was already falling. Doesn't seem like McGregor actually did anything much there, and Paulie may well have thought it was a push because there was hardly a connection and he fell.

      Big drama over nothing.

Little left hand over the top, high on the head, like a flash knockdown.
The inside right, he was already falling, but it looks to me like the left over the top did the damage, and fighters rarely know it's happened with a flash knockdown.

I learned a long time ago to stop doubting Conor McGregor. He's going to KO Floyd.

He's a magic person. He does not operate in the world we know. It's bizarre, I've learned just to roll with it. He says he's going to KO Mayweather... And I believe him.

Mate if it was MMA rules he's destroy Floyd within a round.

Boxing? Not a chance he can beat him, he wont have the skills.

If he comes in swinging Floyd is a counter puncher... watch the Ricky Hatton knockout for a similar approach.
If he tries to out box him he loses every round.

Floyd won't let him get near to knocking him out and will just stay out of range and pick him off at will.

There is no chance he can win in the boxing ring by boxing rules

Floyd has beaten the best in boxing... some who have landed big big shots on him and not beaten him. No way a non boxer can no matter what he says

      Want to win? McGreggor
Who do I think will win? Mayweather

Will stick some money on McGreggor to win, may as well, upsets happen. After all, Haye was meant to destroy Bellew but got the injury, Klitschko was meant to beat Fury and who'd have thought Leicester would win the league? Upsets happen and all it takes is one punch.

Oh if it was an MMA fight it would never have been sanctioned over fear for Floyd's health.

When the fight was announced I would be saying the same thing... But something about the build up which I've watched every minute. Something about seeing them stand side by side the demeanour of both... I'm drinking the cool aide I know... But I just see him KOing him. Don't expect to see a traditional boxing match. Look out for Karate, kickboxing, MMA and boxing stances in orthodox and southpaw. Mayweather may have boxed thousands of rounds... But he hasn't seen anything like Conor before.

Floyd has taken plenty of big punches off of big hitting boxers who with their timing and boxing style will clip more than McGregor

Upsets can happen of course but i just can't see this. Floyd has far too much boxing smarts to lose to a non boxer

But that's exactly the point. It's boxing and Floyd won't get dragged into any of that.. He will box him, stay to hus principles and win it however he wants to.

Boxing is about timing and reading which way they will go to enhance that timing and I just don't see McGregor having the boxing smarts which is what he will need to land on mayweather

Did you see the last press conference? McGregor stuttering and not getting anything out clean? He didn't look confident to me

Last press conference was set up for Floyd to hide. No fans allowed in because he knew he'd get embarrased again. McGregor said a few things, was holding back I think. Was very telling at the end, he bowed like a martial artist and said 'Good luck' to Floyd. And he said it like Mayweather was really going to need it.

F**k I'm excited for tomorrow. Head says Mayweather decision... Heart says Conor will KO him. I'm picking with my heart this one, F**k Floyd.

True, but he's also been out of the ring for 2 years and is 40.

Don't dispute that at all. We all know how it's going to go, Floyd will run away and force McGreggor to go after him, this will lead to McGreggor leaving himself open and Floyd will just pick him off, mistake after mistake.
Hope I'm wrong though because I can't stand Mayweather, shouldn't even have that perfect record because there is no way he could have beaten De La Hoya IMO.

Of course because you're Irish, don't mean that in a bad sense, but your loyalty is immense when in truth he doesnt have a hope. If it was MMA or even a street fight I'd have Connor but Boxing? Nah... only one winner

I'm half Irish and can't stand either of these fuckers.

Loads of sh*t being said about that Paulie sparring, well if that was at the 11th/12th round and he caught him like that and he didn't go down shows he doesn't actually hit that hard in boxing terms.

Can't see him really troubling the wife beater but honestly I'd just love both of them to get the sh*t kicked out of them, both think far too much of themselves and are getting paid far too much for what is really a retirement gig for one fella and time to cash in for the other.

Can totally understand that mate, if Conor won it would be pretty devastating for the sport. I can't see him winning, everything tells me he'll get completely outsmarted but just something with the lad and the way he is says he'll have something lucky happen for him that'll give him a chance.
