Not much talk of Zlatan leaving the club.

'I came. I saw. I scored relatively meaningless goals that got us 6th in the table' were his final words as he departed the club.

      Gutted for him.

Made me laugh how he carried united for a large part of the season with his goals but some fans accused him of slowing the game down, without him they wouldn't have got that high

More press talk about Mourinho being pissed off 'cos they won't throw £200m at him to go shopping.
When he fucks up this will be his reason for failure.

If we had a manager like Jose, we would be ashamed and protesting. He constantly mocks regular people with his trash interview about people being jealous of how rich Pogba is to his tantrum about having to pay for his own shopping. Most people would be delighted with a lifetime earnings of 200m nevermind a shopping trip. How United fans can get behind this man who is rich and looks down on regular people is astounding. Football may be more than a game, but somewhere in his terrible attitude is even a bigger matter than football itself. I wouldn't even take Jose even if it guaranteed a treble. Winning under the ethics and morals like that is worse than not winning at all. Enjoy CL whilst fans struggle to pay for the tickets and Jose will probably will want a golden chair at old Trafford next.

You realise this sentiment seems to sum up most of our fan base? If FSG don't spend £150M+ then everything that could possibly go wrong will be down to this ...

      Keith .

Don't any of you Mancs ever think for a moment what happened in Mourinho's ,  meltdown season at the Chavs?

He was fired for gross underperformance by Abramovich.
In the May of 2015 he won the Premiership title  ..... then a few months later he lost 9 out of the first 16 games of the 15/16 season getting the sack.

So if that was the true case why did you hire him ? A failing , fired manager ?

      Or ....

Have you ever thought that the teams "underperformance" (sic)  was a deliberate ploy on his part for whatever financial shenanigans he was trying to pull in favour of your lot?
So you wouldn't have had to buy him out for mega money?
So...what skullduggery was really going on at the very start of Van Gaal's last (15/16) season ?

I think VG saw the light in the way he was shipped out as fast as they could get him out of Carrington at season's end.
FA Cup winner being an irrelevance.
I think you will agree that the club and a large amount of the so called fans treated him like mud.

What disloyalty and subterfuge Mourinho showed to the Chavs .
He is known as the Three Season Man.
I wouldn't get used to him being a career manager with you Keith , whatever bollocks he may have come out with when he was appointed.

Low attention span and high self centered ego are uncomfortable bedfellows.

Unlike dickhead who has had 1 season there we have had 8 years of bullshit and under-achievement while JWH&Co have been here.

How can anyone forget his meltdown, that's all history now. Yes he was guilty but we all move on. Failing manager?? Never, everyone can have a bad year or two. That doesn't make them a failed manager.

VG could of been handled better but glad he went being honest. Much as I like the FA Cup we all know it's not a priority with the big teams now.

Think we've all stated in the passed he never stays any where that long. However, I do believe in my heart he will be with us a while.

Football finances have gone mad in the past 2 years if Lukaku costs the same amount as Suarez.

Hmm a strange one that, didn't Maureen originally let him leave? In any case I think it will be a big step down from Ibra who was fantastic for you guys last season, a lot of pressure on young Rashford again

Yeah tottaly agree, that's the Premiership these days. Only going to get worse as well. Won't be long before 100 million standard for a top player.

Don't think it will be a problem with Rashford as he does appear to have good head on his shoulders

Mancs I work with not impressed by this transfer, but he's a proven goalscorer to be fair. Then again, so was Benteke!

It's already £100m for a bog standard player.

      Pogba.
To be fair, we call Pogba bog standard, yet he did better than Henderson has done in his first season at United than Henderson has done at Liverpool in 6 seasons. As a central midfielder the most goals Hendo scored is 7 in 54 games. His assists are nothing to shout about either, I refuse to go googling it when I know it will be about 5 assists last season. If Pogba is bog standand, what standard is Henderson? We need to start increasing our midfield strength and sign Keita, I would have taken Pogba over Hendo, Can or Lucas before he was a United player.

Obviously better players out there in that position and like I say certainly not my 1st 2nd or 3rd choice. Benteke never fitted in the Liverpool way so can see why you got rid. Even though yet to be named a official United player will he fit in the United way? "Who know" you decide! as BB says   :lmao:

Them two have a lot in common. United let Pogba go for free and then paid 90mill to get him back. Chavs let Matic go cheap and paid a lot to get him back and now trying the same with Lukaku. Though they get lauded for selling Luiz for more than they paid to bring him back?! Jose is heavily involved in all of these in one way or another apart from the release of Pogba so just goes to show he hasn't a clue about nurturing young potential and can only buy success (well, attempt to anyway like)
