But really...what's the use of making the playoffs if you can't compete. Right now there are two teams that have a chance....Cavs and Warriors. So if you really want to compete, you have to be aiming for them, not just aiming to make the playoffs.

I know, but the Jazz are an extremely young team. Those guys need experience in the playoffs if they're to develop into something special. That's why I was so keen for them to make it this season but the team had quite bad luck with injuries. The Jazz have only Hayward with an "X Factor" about him, but the other players are quite good, though unspectacular. Take Rudy Gobert, for example - he's one of the best defensive players in the league. Favors is also pretty good on defense and has a high points average. Hood has improved a lot this season and Burks was doing very well until his injury (to the point Wade called him the most underrated player in the league).

Apparently Boris Diaw has been trated to the Utah Jazz. Excellent if true - George Hill, Joe Johnson and Diaw will add much needed experience to this roster.

Tim Duncan retires after 19 seasons. One of my favorite NBA players: modest, dedicated, true winner, hard worker. Big Fundamental was the best power forward I ever seen and one of the best player in history of the game.

      Al Horford to Celtics.

      Could be joined by Westbrook.

Please! I like Thomas but Westbrook leading the side and taking Horford off ATL + Wade to Bulls means we're 2nd best in the East already.

Even if it's just for a second, it's progress. We haven't been a threat for a few years now.

Also Teague to Indiana from ATL and they have only added Howard, i think. The East is wide open for someone to try and make some noise. Looks like it's a battle between Pacers and Celtics (game on Diego :D ).

Might have been given a tap on the shoulder. If they knew they could get Wade, i'd tell Rose to shop around too.

Good win today. They still suck, though. Going to need Noah, Rose and Melo to fire every night to have a respectable season.

Avery Bradley led us to a win at Charlotte today. Good stuff :)

On paper, the Jazz have their best roster in years... all of the good players from last season are still in the team, plus Exum has come back from injury, and George Hill, Boris Diaw and Joe Johnson are now in Utah. Really liking the look of this team so far - watching a bit of Jazz @ Clippers right now. Hayward - easily the team's best player - is still injured, when he comes back he can make a huge difference as well. Such an underrated talent.

Jazz are coming along nicely. If they were in the East they'd be a top 3 contender if not this year, next year. Really hope Exum gets plenty of game time and develops.

      Did Zaza undercut Kawhi deliberately?

I'm in two minds. It's either clumsy-ass defence, as he continued to step a loooong way beyond defending the shot. Or it's a sly deliberate undercut. I love Kawhi as an NBA fan, so I really will be pissed if he's not good to go for this series.

Clearly changed the game as well, Warriors stealing victory from the jaws of defeat from that point on.

Hayward.... Crouchie, you alive over there? Man that sucked. Was so excited to see how this Celts team played as well, but on a personal level just sucks seeing guys injured like that. Cruel side of sports.

Not a fan of Basketball, but decided to watch Cavaliers vs Pacers, and what an ending. At 95-95 with Pacers in possession, LeBron James makes a block around 5-4 seconds and regains the ball with 3 seconds left on the clock, then after the timeout and back in play, ball is passed to Lebron James, and with 1 second left, he shoots for a 3 pointer and wins the game! Wow!

They are now. Depends on if they get Leonard, Demarcus Cousins or add another good shooter. If they do, then Golden State and Houston will have problems.
