Some bullshit about growing the global brand, building the main stand, introducing Mighty Red..................... oh and don't forget winning the League Cup!!

It's F***ing light years from being a good record mate.
Winning the League Cup once in 8 years is reason enough to sack any manager, never mind bullshit owners.
Under these failed owners only an FSG plant or a wum would describe 8 years of failure as "not a bad record".

We are being ruthlessly exposed in precisely those areas where all of us F***ing said before the season started that without further strengthening we would be royally fu**ed.

I cannot f*cking believe that after sweating over our mighty top four finish last season we now find ourselves pissing this one well and truly up the wall.

You didn't think these F***ing frauds were going to show some commitment in the club did you after "their choice" of manager dragged us from mid-table to fourth?

F***ing L what do ya want blood?

Is that fair..they could have cashed in on Coutinho and as he wanted away they would not have kopped much stick. But they turned down £100m+. Money men they might be but they haven't had that bad a record here.

      Yes it's fair

They are sitting on a profit in the hundreds of millions while the team plods along.

Some will argue for the stadium expansion they deserve credit and they do but not £700 million.

You could say they have done a good job with off field revenue, ours has improved but so has every club.

And the extra money we are making from the stadium will soon be trumped by Chelsea, West Ham and Spurs. It's even likely Everton will soon be able to match us for match day revenue.

So while they haven't been the worst, what good they have done is being undone by other clubs showing more ambition

According to James Pearce, last month the owners rejected a £1.5bn takeover bid. They think they can get more in the future.

So long term that gives us some certainty.

We can be certain FSG think there is some more flesh left to strip off the carcass!

But, no need to worry. They bought us 7 years ago for a pittance so we are honour bound to defend them despite one of the worst stretches of performance in modern Liverpool history.

You're missing 3 zeros. And personally, I think that's bull - they would jump at it as would equal ~170M profit per year.

It wouldn't be like these owners to brief the media of a takeover in order to alleviate anger towards the state of the club!

Already a piece as well on the Echo site with quotes from Werner saying there's no truth to it.

Not too sure what to think as I honestly think this lot would be happy to sell for that amount.

I see Carra is already starting to have a pop at American owners in the Premier League:

If its true that they turned down £1.5 billion, then it shows they believe that our value is certain to rise further.
A club worth £1.5 billion with an average net spend of £23.9 million! Simply not good enough!

Flashes like a beacon that last sentence, average spend under £24m yet we're expected to compete at the top table domestically and in Europe,
The Lunatics have truly taken over the asylum,

What part of "We need major investment " pitchside, don't they understand?

Eg; if RB Lipstick want £70m for Naby f***in pay it, likewise with Dele Ali or other supposed targets scuppered by paltry offers from FSG,

One league cup in 8yrs of ownership equates to taking the f***in piss when you factor in what the club is worth right now,

Ah but, the money is there....well f***in SPEND IT THEN ...KUNTS !!

It's nailed on mate, they know the market value of the asset that is LFC will grow and grow - assets by definition perform in such a way.

A committed investor would feed the asset and be assured of a healthy return accompanied by a more than acceptable dividend for shareholders.
Success breeds success which would of course have the support base more than happy.
A long term plan in perfection.

The JWH&Co model by complete contrast involves the ridiculous net spend mentioned above which suggests the owners are quite content to do F**k all and simply cream it.
The market value will grow steadily over and above inflation and JWH&Co have a nice little earner to add to their portfolio.

Our owners do not need alternative priorities, LFC is fulfilling every definition of a good business model.
Why should they read books about soccer?

I don't know about you guys but I have given up on that romantic idea of winning trophies without throwing money.
I'd love a Sheikh buying us and winning every trophy there is, watching us compete and making teams like real barca and psg afraid of us.

Whether or not there is any substance to the claim, there is no doubt that FSG would knock it back mate.
While the cash cow is performing as it should and shows no sign of faltering whatsoever, the prospect of FSG selling up and F***ing off is remote.

If a determined, committed bid were forthcoming with an outrageous amount of dosh it could turn some heads, I believe money is the only agenda that will affect any direction our duplicitous owners wish to follow.
