      Are Sakho and Marko still on the books?  Seriously, wouldn't it be better to sell them both for cut price deals or even loans than to keep paying their wages to have them rot in the reserves ???

      It's hard to see anything being done now.  I can't subscribe to the view shared by some that we were waiting for CL qualifier (one week before end of window) and THEN we'd sign players.  Last minute deals are generally done in the Jan window, not after 2 months in the summer. Anti-climatic week coming up...

      Not sure if that's a serious question but VVD apparently wanted to play for us before yesterday and seemingly, Coutinho still wants away.  Utd attracted the likes of Di Maria, Ibrahimovic & Pogba without CL football to look forward to, so not sure that entirely washes tbh.  Hope I'm wrong but can't think it's any kind of strategy to wait until now, if so, why wasn't this conveyed 6 weeks ago?

      I see the football gossip columns have us linked with all sorts of quality players today not that the club have secured Champions League qualification. I'm sure lots of hard work is being done behind the scenes and it's only a matter of days, hours even until the club announce our next big signing of the summer.

      I think Sakho would be 1st choice (ahead of Lovren) if he hadn't seemingly burnt his bridges with the gaffer. 

      Sadly, I just don't think Markovic has what it takes to even be a squad player for us.

      A lot of you guys have far to high an opinion of Sakho, he's good but not that good, perhaps very slightly better than Lovren but he's a complete c**t, a disruptive influence so why the F**k would you play him??

      Markovic hasnt done much granted. But defo has talent. Confidence might be a big part. If Klopp got that back up and gave him some game time out wide it might help get the best from him.

      Personally i wouldng give up on him though i see why others would.

      I reckon at this point I could say Ronaldo was a good player and you'd probably disagree.

      BTW 2 of the goals were deflections, one was a superb freekick and the rest were through excellent play by us, I couldn't really fault Baumann for any of the goals conceded but you go on thinking Migs and Karius are better options!

      OK difference of opinion then, in my view he has every ingredient to be a first class keeper but of course we have so much goalkeeping talent already so why would we need anyone else!
      I swear I must have been watching a different game to everyone else because apparently Gini, who lost the ball countless times, was MOTM as well.
