Good luck Divock, he needs to play and he won't have any chance in our attack with Mane, Firmino, Coutinho, Salah, Sturridge, Solanke, Ings, Alex O.C

      Good move.

Time for Solanke to take his chance.

6M and wages for a loan looks like good business.
Firmino/Sturridge/Solanke seems the pecking order and that looks good.

Ings should be loaned out too, maybe a spell in the Championship will be good for him and his confidence.

Ontopic: Good deal for both the club and the player, Bundesliga is a good league for strikers and he can improve there.

Agreed. In fact, being completely honest, I'm a little pleased because it became frustrating seeing him come on instead of either Sturridge or Solanke.

Hopefully he progresses well and comes back to us as a fantastic player.

      Best of luck Divock!

      Same here.

Don't know what happened to the guy who was so crucial for us in that month of April 2016. Truth be told, his only real purple patch for the club. Just hasn't really shown it otherwise and I'd be surprised if he played for Liverpool again.

A decent amount for a player that needs game but was struggling to even make it to the bench. Plus a bit of safety in case we're suffering with injuries in January. A good deal for us and hopefully Origi will continue his development in Germany.

      Good luck to the lad.
Hope it goes well and his development comes on a bit more.

Lets face it, at his age he needs game time to push on, so this could be ideal for him, and us.

Wolfsburg :  Loan Terms For The Season.

      Good Deal .

They pay £ 6,000,000  million squid up front , all of his wages for the season and we have the right to call him back in Jan if needed.

       ;D

What are they smoking at Volkswagen ?

So possibly a 4 month loan. I would not have loaned him out at all.
We have 4 things to compete for, If I see a full strength squad out in the league cup against people like Halifax Town.. too footed challenges against Salah etc... going to be a bid peeved off at this decision.
It also means less full rest for players.
Lallana still injured and Sturridge is made of glass.
Coutinho could be sulking half the season... mad decision.

So basically we are renting out players. His contract is up in 2019, so we should have atleast extended his contract.

The Chavs rent out 30 on loan.

Actually I'd have kept him. Firmino gets injured we could have problems.

Not a bad guy at all, certainly not a bad player either but its clear that Klopp fancies Solanke over Origi. To be fair, I don't think anyone expected that, and I think it's a simple case of Solanke perhaps being better than the coaches thought.

Disappointed he didn't progress as much as I'd hoped. I thought he was going to do it; he seemed to be progressing nicely in some games last year before Christmas.

But this entire year he did nothing at all. A good player, and I sure hope he progresses at Wolfsburg and gets going over there.

Sorry sore, different player altogether, can't compare them.
besides I'd rather have Solanke off the bench.

I mentioned in Ryan Kent's thread that Jürgen is getting the lads to learn German.    Origi to Wolsburg and Kent to Freiburg.

Good move for him and us.
He just hasn't shown the quality that we were led to believe he had
Time is on his side and a loan away where hopefully he'll play quite a bit is a damn good one for all
      Good luck!
