Chavs have 36 players out on loan.

      36 !

      Their youth factory is insane.
      Nothing but a stockpile.

      Roberto Firmino.

      Son of a Gun

Because he made a complete arse out of you; though in fairness you achieved much of that all by yourself.

      Remember now?

As for the rest - well, I'm hopeful even with you that it's starting to sink in that I don't have to agree with everything Klopp does.

The sooner you stop playing Klopp Cop on here and playing up to a particular gallery, the better for everyone.

      I genuinely don't remember.

Please link me so I can see how I was knocked down.

He'd have loved beating Bayern in their own back yard, even though it was a friendly you could see him getting that bit more out of the lads on the sidelines.

Certainly has the lads purring, I thought the start of the second half especially was fantastic and only the odd pass or half a yard here and there stopped us completely ripping Bayern a new one.

      Loved that, cheers Boss.

Last manager to stop Bayern winning the league and now the manager to have stopped them winning their own tournament. Good work Klopp!

I honestly think we are seeing the beginnings of a top class European outfit even better than what Jürgen built at Dortmund, the players he brought through in that side nowadays roll off the tongue, we have two or three individuals presently who would walk into that BvB side under Klopp,  we have at our disposal a very young but hungry squad of players of which will only get better, in particular players like Mane, Firmino, Grujic, Alexander, Kent, Can, are names that hopefully will have the same kind of impact that Lewandowski, Reus, Hummels, Goetze, had when BvB dominated the Bundesliga and almost won the CL,

last night we seen why Jürgen wanted to bring Naby Keita into our midst, instead of having two holding players in Hendo & Can who quite honestly can't both play at the same time, too much confliction, in other parlance they are too similar, chuck in Naby a natural box to box duracell powered AM who can and will link up with your runners ie; Mane, Salah Bobby, and Coutinho (if he stays), isn't that a very exciting and cock hardening prospect,
with a defensive unit with Matip and Van Dijk as cb's , TAA and Robertson/Moreno and a confidant stopper, it's plain to see a very impressive outfit, i'm very excited with what we have atm, add VVD and subsequently Keita next season with or without Coutinho, Klopp is building a very very good side.

5 matches in the first two weeks.

      Can't wait.

Would have liked to have seen the TEAM strengthened in certain areas but that's just something we're used to now.

Next 9 days is gonna drag.

Seeing as it's the Klopp thread, it does look as though he's got the lads up to speed and chomping at the bit.

If the club somehow managed to secure his key targets in Van Dijk and Keita before the window shuts, and Sturridge keeps himself fit for a year, he'd have us properly challenging on all fronts next season.

If we sign neither and things don't quite go our way, we could see ourselves actually improve yet still finish outside the top four next year because of the business done by those around us.

I personally don't think that'll be he case but if so, I hope the dickheads amongst our fan base remember how lucky we are to have him and don't throw their toys out the pram.

      Up the f***in reds though.

Reckon he prioritised beating Bayern over anything else.
Almost full strength that first half as opposed to the 2nd tier defence that lined up v Atletico.

Definitely, he mentioned when he first arrived that his role had nothing to do with transfers and he's just reiterating that point. People reading too much into that tweet in my opinion.

I can understand that, but he was pretty explicit regarding who IS responsible for the lack of any traction.

Could have just said "Hey, I appreciate everyone's concerns, but I'm not in charge of transfers, if I were, Neymar and Messi would be on the next plane"

Or something similar. He appears to have a good sense of humor, so it seemed odd to me that he was getting all serious all of the sudden.

Especially considering his response to this one:

      100 million on who?

Our net spend is around 42, Arsenal's is 44, Chelsea's 130ish, United around 146 and Man City's is just under 210.

So of the top 7, only Spurs have a smaller net spend than us this summer.

With Lallana out, Lucas leaving and Keita being held hostage we need another player in there for sure Jürgen.

Time to go shopping or CM could really cost us.

      Agree mate.

We needed one before Lallana's injury so definitely need one now.

Never heard of him until you've just typed that in mate, quick scan of whoscored and he looks to have a pretty defensive skill set about him.
