      Imagine if we won the title with others collapsing and us romping home in games, eventually beating Chelsea to a smidgen - dream scenario because we'd get to thank Man Utd and Mourinho for helping us win the league.  :lmao:

      There's still gonna be a few ups and downs before the end, but we seem to be getting the hang of grinding out wins, against lower opposition.
      Hopefully that will be enough to see us through.
      If we do qualify, hope we avoid Real and the clear favouritism they seem to get from linno's.

      Yes, a top 4 spot definitely gets us into the CL, group stage for 3rd and final play-off round for 4th.

      Hope you are right about 3rd.

      I agree that it shouldn't, but we've had a few shouldn'ts this season that ended up as "did." so, I'd rather avoid the possibility.

      After all of our opining, it comes down tto, as always, us needing to keep winning. Just keep winning and we'll be fine.

      Not entirely correct mate, back a long time ago it didn't make a difference because we were  regulars in CL. These playoffs are seeded and I suspect we would be on the wrong sides of those seeds being out the CL for so long now. Even if we got an easier game, it doesn't always make it more winnable in our current state. We all know too well we can draw to a mid table club after thrashing a top 4 team. If we finish 3rd I do fancy Liverpool to get out a group, probably as runners up.

      Nah, we'd piss it mate, finishing 4th or hopefully 3Rd I'd fancy us making it thru to the knock out stage regardless,

      By then we will be stronger, have better quality within our ranks and for me be a formidable side in Europe under Klopp,
      We had a taste of it in the Europa last season with a weaker side than we have now,  reaching the final, beating top experienced cl sides en route,
      Absolutely no reason we can't go on a similar adventure in the CL.....

      f***in bring it on.... Including Real, Barca, Bayern... We'll give any of them nightmares.!!

      f***in 'A' mate we got the pedigree, anyone who comes up against us will see our history in this competition and that in itself will ramp up the pressure,

      Then there is the Klopp factor and his preferred style of playing, especially the bigger sides, they will know we're gonna be attacking with the ball and pressing without it, so home or away we're gonna be a very tough encounter for anyone,

      At the end of the day it will be quality that will shine through, and although we may be found out eventually it's how far that eventuality will be,
      That and of course lady luck along the way,
      I don't give a shiny sh*te who we come up against I know that we will frighten the sh*te out of them when they come to us on a matchday night, and that is a huge advantage.

      We would be back in Europe regardless. And we really need to be back in Europe, and if it is in St. Petersburg or CSKA Moscow at 5pm on a November night, so be it. You have to travel if you want to be in Europe.

      What the mancs do in Europe is their own business. 4th spot is now guaranteed to be in a qualifier.

      CL Chelski Spuds Us
      CL qualifying Citeh
      CL via the Europa league Mancs
      Europa via League place Gooners
      Europa via the league cup place the Mancs don't want and the FA cup place no one wants
      Bs and Wba
      Meaning Watford Soton Stoke maybe even Leicester and Wham are still chasing European football.

      Don't qualify for CL because of piss poor squad and 11 first teamers who are the most injury prone in Europe

      This. Whilst us as fans can speculate, the players absolutely must avoid any distraction from anything but our own results.

      Although it'll be annoying that they automatically qualify for the group stages whereas we'd have to go through a fairly tricky qualifier.
