Didn't see him getting into ours. Not sure how he gets into Arsenals actually either as it goes.

Take Sanchez out and Arsenal's team was very average last season so no surprise he got in.

I like the Ox and I think if theres nothing else down for us this window he could be a good signing for us.

Good work rate, good pace, good strength and a good all round player who can fill a lot of different roles in a team when the inevitable injuries happen.

If he stays fit he could become really good in the next few years IMO.

Ox looks to be a regular for Arsenal this season.

      He's going nowhere.

But still just 1 year on his contract, either they sell him now, sign him up for longer, or he goes for free next season.

Turned down 180k per week contract ... will be told whether he can go in the next 24 hours.

Would certainly add pace, goals and creativity to our midfield options in my opinion

He would add pace not sure where you get the idea of creativity and goals.

I doubt henderson can and gini got 10 between them last season ... i reakon ox could get 10 a season from an advanced midfield position. In fact id say he offers more than henderson can gini and milner from midfield in terms of attack and creativity. Without lallana and coutinho our midfield looks samey to me.

When has the Ox ever scored 10 goals in a season.
Are you expecting a breakout season from him?

Still not convinced, but he'd be a decent player to have on the bench and rotate.
Plus he can play wide, and central, and if anyone can bring the best out of him, surely that's Klopp.

No im expecting him to be played in an advanced midfield position instead of right back or right wing back. He has been wasted at arsenal.

He could be more creative and influential than any of our current crop of midfielders and improve squad depth which we badly need.

Strange that you're on t'internet but you couldn't just Google that before coming out with something just as daft. 😯

      Anyhows... Past 3 PL seasons - Henderson = 10 goals & 17 assists: Oxlade-Chamberlain = 4 goals & 10 assists.

I dont have to give you any evidence. It's my opinion. I feel we need more than hendo gini can and milner. Grujic is not ready. You can forget lallana until late november/ early december.

If coutinho does not want to play and Emre Can has decided he wants to go at the end of the season then i feel this lad would be a good addition for this season and beyond.

Im sure he will not be short of offers from top clubs ... lets put it that way. He could even play wide in the front 3 if needs be. He improves squad depth, quality and options in my opinion.

If you are happy with hendo gini can milner and grujic for the forseeable then more power to you.

The Ox ain't a CM.  He's a wide player with electric pace, he's physically robust, a good dribbler, and has decent service.  I wasn't sold on the idea of him earlier in the summer, but I've come round on him because we really need a backup for Mane/Salah as those two can't possibly play every game with the amount of running and sprints they put in, not to mention kicks they take because defenders can't keep up with them.  The Ox seems like a decent enough rotation player for our wide positions.
