Danny Murphy is a ****ing idiot. He can shut his stupid mouth publicly saying £80m would be good business and Coutinho is not as good as Neymar. Neymar has an awful attitude and is devalued for that alone. Murphy is a dirty word of the highest order. Ex players have no right speaking in ways publicly that could influence our hard stance.

Now Neymer has had a training ground bust up with Semedo. He seems to be following Keita's way to get out. If he does leave, Barca will leave no stone unturned to get Phil. I hope Klopp stays true to his word.

If Barcelona or Real Madrid come calling and the time is right, virtually any player would want the opportunity to test themselves and to experience that moment in their careers

Lester, good post... this sentence jumped out at me. I found it interesting because... what kind of test is it, really, to be playing for Barcelona at the moment, one of the top three sides in Europe in a league that is nowhere near as punishing or challenging as the EPL? In a team with the most lethal strike force anywhere in world football? It strikes me that the real test for Coutinho would be to remain at Liverpool and be an instrumental part of a strengthening team hoping to win the Prem and challenge for the Champions League over the next two or three seasons.

It appears that we have/are slapping a £133m price tag on Coutinho to Supposedly " "ward off interest from Barca" "... I believe that this could be as much about telling Barca and PSG that this is the starting price as much as warding of the attention of both suitors, And If Neymar departs for PSG asking Barca how much of the quote asking price £180 -£199 m are they willing to spend on replacing Iniesta

I think we'll sell him. Late in the window, but I think he's offski. Just a feeling.

Says who? People believe things like this from random reporters or radio stations that aren't even in England but then don't pay the slightest bit of attention when someone like Melissa Reddy rubbishes it.

Hmm, I doubt it BigMick unless either Klopp is telling porkies or the club want to piss off their manager.

Honestly don't see any signs that he's going anywhere and for once it's nice to be able to tell Barca to eff off. We don't need your heckin money. Not like we'd spend it anyway :D

If Neymar goes to PSG its odds on we sell Coutinho for me. I couldn't see FSG saying no to 120 million. Unfortunately I can see this one rumbling right up until the transfer deadline.

Nightmare senario- We fail to sign VD and Keita, Coutinho is sold to Barca for £100 million, then Jürgen walks away in disgust.
