Liverpool arrive in Dublin on Saturday to take on Bilbao in our last pre season game.

Anyone on here travelling over for it and looking for a pre match meeting point a supporters club branch in Dublin use Slatterys pub in beggars bush close to the stadium. Will get packed early enough but spilling onto the street should be no issue

Starting XI: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Lovren, Moreno, Can, Milner, Grujic, Salah, Firmino, Origi.

Subs: Karius, Ward, Wijnaldum, Gomez, Klavan, Mane, Robertson, Solanke, Flanagan, Kent, Ejaria, Woodburn.

Divock Origi leads the attack for Liverpool in the pre-season friendly with Athletic Club this afternoon.

The Belgian joins forces with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah up front as the Reds conclude their pre-season fixture schedule at Aviva Stadium.

James Milner, who captains the side in the absence of Jordan Henderson due to illness, moves to central midfield for the meeting with the La Liga side.

Painfully obvious from that squad we need more additions.

I really don't want to see Milner used as a CM this season.

Milner in the middle ??? Will comment after the game, would have preferred Wijnaldum. Moreno kept his place, he is playing for his future.

At least Jürgen will get to see Milner in midfield.

Hopefully it's enough motivation for him to open the cheque-book too.

We could very well be fielding this exact side in a meaningful game in a couple of weeks. All it takes is a couple of injury knocks and a bit of illness and we've got the likes Origi and Moreno starting and Milner back in the middle alongside the unproven Grucic.

For fuc.......ks sake FSG/Edwards/Jürgen pull your collective fingers out of your Arses and bring in some players. This squad is a million miles away where it needs to be.

What's weird, is one prep game to go before we start our ECL season, and with our ECL qualifier on the horizon, and we're playing James Milner in the centre of our midfield.

Still, when we sell Moreno and Sakho we'd have made money this transfer window.

      Like the last summer one.
