Salah has to be MOTM, but another exceptional match by Firmino. Fantastic performance overall, well played!

Agreed, lad is knackered now and my only worry is we don't burn him out. Could do with fitting in a rest somewhere.

Another clean sheet, 4th win in a row and another 3 goals. Starting to really look good again now.

Impressed with our attack as ever, still concerns about our midfield and defence though. Think Henderson is incredibly wasteful with the time he is given and Lovren still looked a mess to me. Klavan very good indeed, as was Moreno.

Don't want to take credit away from our lads when we get a clean sheet but that right hand side of Lovren/Trent needs to be hidden in games where the opposition have attacks like the Saints, anyone with any potency could have punished us there I feel. Quicker Matip or Gomez come in for either in a defensive sense the better.

Overall, thoroughly professional performance. Tops stuff lads.

Only a point behind the 'brilliant' Spurs and if Rafa could do us a favour against the Scum then we'll be right on their heels too. Unfortunately, City look away and gone but other than that it's becoming very tight for the top spots again.

Yeah. That's what I got from Henderson today. Found himself in some incredible positions to put in a killer ball which our men up top would have made mincemeat of and yet more often than not absolutely and crudely shanked it in the way Mignolet shanks every kick he takes. An average performance in what has been a very average season from him so far.

Poor defending by TAA there. Had the chance to clear his lines after Lovren's initial header. Failed to do so.

Think he got caught out a few times today. It'll come to him though in time.

Considering they've not all played for a couple of weeks that was a very good performance all round. We could have had 5 or 6 on another day but I'll take what we got! Salah MOTM but thought Henderson did well winning the ball back when he was called upon to do so. Could do with being a bit more positive at times but that's an issue for another day.

A good result that for Liverpool.  Three consecutive 3-0's at Anfield and they've all required a bit of patience to break down the opposition.

Not much you can say about Salah but the criticism we get about not having a striker can be put to bed when you have the likes of him breaking goalscoring records for us.

As we begin to look low on injuries then our squad is looking much better.

Defenders didn't have much to do today, but what they did - they did well.

Great win off the back of the international break. Didn’t realise we were only 3 points off second place.

Salah is looking like a cracking player.

Salah the obvious MOTM but Firmino close behind. Mane and Coutinho were good as well.

To be honest, our defense played well.

Comfortable win, 3 goals, clean sheet, job done today :)
We looked very good up front, particularly Salah and Coutinho.
Mane did OK coming back, maybe lacking a bit of sharpness, and Firmino worked hard as usual.
Thought Hendo and Gini did well enough, maybe not offering huge amount going forward, but with Cou in the middle, to get a balance onus is on those two guys to keep it relatively simple, win balls, protect the back 4 etc.  There was at least one audible groan after a Hendo pass backward in the 2nd half, but am not gonna complain too much bout them two on the day.
Klavan did well, looked more composed than Dejan, and the FBs did well. Migs had very little to do.

Once Cou, Mane and Salah went off, we looked less dangerous as you'd expect. Of the 3 that came on, thought Can looked the rustiest.

We'll have sterner tests than that coming up, but well done Jürgen, very nice to see us put a little run together, long may it continue...

That's what I call a good square win.

Somebody has a clip from Simon's move within the box early in the game? It made my heart literally stop for a short time.  :f_doh:

Also I think Klopp learned and doesn't let Liverpool play that high anymore. That benefits his defense.

Great initiative by the club. Need to do this for every home match - invite local primary school pupils to the matches. Engage young kids and bring forward a new generation of local supporters. You could rubber stamp that legacy by drastically reducing ticket prices.

Good performance thought that was going to be tough today we bossed that for 75 mins.
Massive boost was Sadio starting  it cheered me up immensely, my MOTM was Bertie he seems to improve every chance /start he gets still have images of the reckless Bertie tho to remind me not to get to carried away, but a huge improvement in the guy.
Mo was outstanding took his goals well and was a huge problem to Southampton  along with Bobby Couts them all really, only moan is I dont see the point in having Can in the squad let alone game time ,you could say the same about Phil but his contributions are game changing while Emre IMO is just going through the motions till he jogs on,  he wont get injured between now and January thats for sure .

Didn't see it, but good result obviously. 3 wins in a row and we are at least now back in the chasing pack. Citeh have one hand on the title already unfortunately but you never know they might hit a bad spell at some point.

The main positive I'm taking from our last few games is that we seem to be getting better at breaking down the "teams we should beat". Salah has been the key difference for that from last season - guy seems to be a natural goal poacher ( although saw his first was a cracker as well).

Newcastle 1-0 up against the Mancs right now. Come on Rafa!
