So Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is finally an Arsenal player!

It's been a long, long time coming, but Gunners fans will nevertheless be delighted that Arsene Wenger has come through and signed the Gabon international.

Things were looking a little worrying when Alexis Sanchez left the club for rivals Manchester United, and Mesut Ozil still hadn't penned a new contract.

But it's safe to say that everything is on the up. Ozil has penned a new deal, the club have Henrikh Mkhitaryan AND, of course, Aubameyang is now on their books! Hooray.

For a bit of FUN, here's five things we spotted from Aubameyang's unveiling.

1. Same place, same pose, are you Poch in disguise?

We know Mauricio Pochettino is one of the best manager's in the world right now.

But we think Arsenal fans will be hoping Wenger has been influenced by more than the way in which he poses with his players.

Around this time last year Pochettino's one humorous pose caught the eye of the world, and everyone had a laugh at his expense.

But it now seems that Wenger is doing the same. Same pose. Same position.

He's even posed with both Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang in front of the same picture, showing the Gunners' 2017 FA Cup success.

Suppose if it isn't broken, don't fix it.

2. Well, he's packed lightly, that's for sure!

Aubameyang looked the part when he shook hands with Wenger; a huge smile on his face, and the most eye-catching jacket that ever did catch your eye.

But that's the problem with jewel encrusted hoodies isn't it? (I mean, not that we'd know or anything.) They really do catch your eye to the point that they stay in your mind.

And wasn't Aubameyang wearing the exact same thing when he travelled to the UK via private jet on Tuesday?

Well, yes, indeed he was. That said, we think if we owned a jewel encrusted hoodie, we'd probably wear it everyday too.

3. He WILL have his eye on the number 17

While we're on the topic of Aubameyang's jewel encrusted hoodie we should explain that the Gabon likes his clothes.

No really, he likes his clothes to the point he has his own PEA17 clothing brand - his hoodie is definitely from his own collection, seen as his initials are printed in the jewels.

Now, it's just a guess, but we'd say that the striker has absolutely no intention of seeing his brand fall by the wayside.

And even though he can't have the number 17 shirt this season - it belongs to Alex Iwobi, and there is simply no way he can have it - he will be gunning for it next year. Sorry, Alex.

4. Arsenal are already putting him through his paces

Alexis Sanchez was made to play the piano when he signed for Manchester United.

It was pretty funny, although it seems the former Arsenal forward got more stick than what it was worth after the video went viral.

The Gunners on the other hand decided to unveil the Gabon international in a slightly different way - by showing the world what he can do.

OK, it might sound better than it turned out.

But you have to respect the club dressing him up in the Arsenal kit, sticking him in front of a green screen, and throwing balls at him to acrobatically volley.

You know, exactly like Olivier Giroud used to do...

5. There's always one gaffe to spoil it

In all their excitement, Arsenal posted on their official website that Aubameyang is their second January signing.

But he's not, the 28-year-old is actually their third. Whoops.

Konstantinos Mavropanos (who?) joined at the start of the window for £1.8million, and has since trained with the first team.

He also made the bench for Arsenal's 0-0 Carabao Cup draw against Chelsea, not that anyway at the club noticed or anything, by the looks of it.

Of course, Mkhitaryan was the other man they signed... hang on, maybe it was the Armenian they had forgotten about?
