Arsenal fans have reacted to reports that club officials have arrived in Germany for talks over a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - and it seems they are fearing the worst.
Mirror Sport revealed the Gunners are set to make a club-record bid for the Borussia Dortmund striker, who has been earmarked as a replacement for the departing Alexis Sanchez.
Arsene Wenger was tight-lipped over a potential deal following his side's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace on the weekend, despite Dortmund claiming a bid had been made.
But BILD reports Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has flown into Germany with other club officials for showdown talks.
The two clubs are set to hold a summit to discuss a deal for Aubameyang.
Arsenal are ready to go above the £52million they paid for Alexandre Lacazette last summer to get a deal done for Aubameyang, who is set to be offered wages of £200,000 per week.
After the win over Palace, Wenger said: "We are nowhere near anything with Dortmund. They are responsible for their own statements. I cannot stand up for what they say."
It would be a huge coup for Arsenal after losing Sanchez in the Henrikh Mkhitaryan switch.
And it seems supporters of the north London club - who have been disappointed in previous transfer windows - are getting a little anxious waiting for the deal to be confirmed.
Here's how they reacted to the news Gazidis has flown to Germany.
