And as far as Henrikh Mkhitaryan is concerned, Manchester United fans feel that he failed to do exactly that when he made his Arsenal debut in the Gunners' visit to Swansea City on Tuesday night.

On what was a shocking night for the Gunners, Arsene Wenger's men surrendered a one goal lead to lose 3-1 to the Swans in South Wales, with Sam Clucas scoring twice and Jordan Ayew also on target after an awful error from Petr Cech .

Mkhitaryan was unable to change the course of the game when he came on for Mohamed Elneny on the hour mark, with Ayew finding the net just a minute later.

And the United fans watching on were able to enjoy their now former player's misfortune, largely because of one thing he said after he joined his new club - namely that he was looking forward to playing "offensive football".

You know what's coming...

Yeah, there's no real saving yourself with this one Henrikh...
